I’m a teaching artist as well, which is one of my favorite jobs. I teach comics classes and lead presentations on comics year-round in the southeast Michigan area and beyond. Here are some of the places at which I’ve led classes or presentations:
- The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts

I co-organize the annual Ann Arbor Comic Arts Festival, a free comics event that offers a family-friendly artist alley, drawing demos, and free hands-on workshops for kids and adults.
Lastly, I’m known for creating audio and video shows about comics. I host a weekly audio and video podcast called Lean Into Art. It and many of my Comics Are Great interviews with comics professionals, can be found on my YouTube channel.
