We’ve all been there–you start out with the promise of a new day, a reasonably curated to-do list, and a commitment to make your art. And suddenly you look at the clock and it’s the end of the day and all you have to show for it is seven or eight little piles of unfinished good intentions. This happens to all of us.

Whatever your skill level, it’s super easy to get lost in the various tasks that go into making art. And for good reason–not only is art a series of complex tasks, but we’re often performing the tasks in chunks of time either stolen from other commitments, or in the spaces between emotionally and physically expensive commitments.

Picking up mere moments after last episode, we see Starscream quickly ditch the Combaticons , while Onslaught concocts a plan of his own! It seems he has a plan to get to Cybertron and get revenge on not just Megatron , but Starscream as well! This is our longest episode so far! There’s a lot to love in this one, but also a few instances of missing the mark. All this, and we get semi-introduced to FIVE NEW TRANSFORMERS! Only 3 more episodes in season two after this one!!

Baron von Bear, expert in the occult, never once wanted to be an adventurer. But when years of hard work are demolished along with an ancient stone guardian that rendered harmless his collection of dangerous magical objects, he will have to enter the fray at last.

And will learn to his dismay that those objects were not at all what he believed.

@ironcircus just announced they’re publishing my next middle grade GN as part of their Sprocket imprint. The next few years are going to be intense, but meaningful. I’ll be posting some sketches and process on my Patreon (@ Jerzy).
