Some of my students who have been working as color assistants on 🚂The Case of the Mummy Express🚂, told me how much they enjoyed the dynamic between Wilhelmina and Shenandoah.
And, having read The Case of the Two-Faced Statue (in which Wilhelmina was a villain), they suggested the possibility that the biker cat might switch sides at the end of this story. And maybe…they could be special friends?
In other words, they were beginning to “ship” Wilhelmina and Shenandoah.
My first drawing of 2026 is dedicated to the lovely students who not only support the production of my next book, but flatter me by making headcanon about the characters!
I’m not saying it’s going to happen, but…
