1994. I’m tabling at my first convention (Motor City in Novi), and I have a bowl of peppermint candies on the table. DC Editor Julie Schwartz stops by and takes one, and I ask him if I could grab a photo of him taking my candy. One of my favorite photos. I wish I still had the negative!

Today I started a week-long visit at Glacier Ridge Elementary in Dublin Ohio. The art class knows how to make a cartoonist feel welcomed!

Favorite moment so far: an 11-year-old student asked me what YouTube channels I subscribed to when I was their age.
